A non refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation is required to secure your reservation. At certain times of the year we reserve the right to payment in full for the booking. In this case payment in full is non refundable.
Guests are reminded that a booking is a legally binding contract. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is not refundable. We will make all reasonable efforts to re-let the accommodation, but if this fails, guests are respectfully reminded that they are liable for the costs incurred. We strongly recommend you insure against the possibility of cancellation.
Where the guest gives card details in order to make payment of a deposit it is agreed between the parties that in the event of cancellation the Guest house may debit the guest’scard with the full amount of the cancellation charge less an allowance for any deposit or payment already received.
The Guest house reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction to the Guest house by fire or other causes, any shortage of labour or food supplies, or any other cause beyond the control of the Guest house which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. In such an event the Guest house will refund the deposit made but will have no further liability to the Guest.
Payment can be made by debit/credit card or cash on the day of departure. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Electron, Maestro and Solo.
There is a £3.00/night surcharge for any credit card transactions.
Family rooms may be let without full occupancy. However, should guests use the “spare” beds then there will be a charge of £15 per bed to cover linen cleaning costs.
Lost keys are charged at £20.
Please report all breakages to the Guest house. If you leave the guest house without reporting breakages then the Guest house reserve the right to invoice a guest following departure.
It is illegal to smoke in the guesthouse, we rigorously enforce the legislation .
8. Special Needs
When enquiring about accommodation, please tell us of any special needs or requirements you may have so that we may advise on the suitability of the rooms we offer. We do not have a lift.
We are sorry but we cannot accept any pets. Guide dogs are accepted by prior arrangement.
10. Arrival/Departure times
Check in time is between 4.00 pm and 7.00pm, Other times may be available by arrangement but are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed. Check out time is 10.30 am on day of departure.
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on file but will not be disclosed to any third parties.
